Extension Swift playground

This weeks extension we did swift playground again and we also did our extension DLO.
This week I learned about for loops, for loop just repeats the code a given number of times and I also learned "if" if just changes which path your code takes

Tidus 3D Pentagon

This my not really good Pentagonal prism I made with these pipe cleaners, it has 15 edges, 7 faces and 10 vertices.

This shape is a Polyhedron, the square faces are made up of parallel lines and right angles.

Hi Manager

My name is Tidus, A year 8 student from Pt England School.

The reason I am writing this letter is to explain why single use plastic bags should
be banned from everywhere.

Did you know that plastic bags have killed many marine and native life?

That is because people are lazy and just chuck their plastic bags away on the ground,
then the wind pushes the plastic bags in the sewers or in rivers, which lead to the ocean.

Each year an estimate of 500 Billion to 1 Trillion Plastic bags are used worldwide a year,
which is over 1 million plastic bags a minute. Most seabirds are killed by plastic bags,
because they think that the plastic bags are fish. So Paking save, try to not use single
use plastic bags.

Letter to Ms Tapuke

Dear Ms Tapuke,

Hello. My name is Tidus and my nationality is New Zealand and my ethnicity is
Samoan. There is only six of us which is my Step Dad, my Dad, Mum, Brother and
Nana. I am the youngest in my family, I am only 12 years old

I’ve loved gaming my whole entire life, it is our biggest
hobbies in our family. My favourite food is meatballs,

Colour is Grey, Orange and Blue. My favourite sport is soccer, but I don’t really play
it.

The only things I like at school is maths and fitness. My goals for this year is to get
good at reading, writing and stay good on maths. I do not like going up in front
of lots people, it makes me really nervous. So don’t recommend me doing the mihi.

My teacher for literacy is awesome, I like writing and kind of reading, I think if she
keeps doing what she’s doing I can learn and get better.

I am a really good gamer, i’ve been gaming for like 7-7½  years which I have
mentioned in paragraph 2. I also started playing piano in 2017 of August.
