The 3 best days ever in School.
Now that the year 8's are gone, all the year 7's can have fun at school I had fun at school, so I am going to tell you all about what me and all the year 7's did. Day 1 Wednesday. The first thing that we did was we had to think of a group name and a group chant. First we had to come up with a name, there were a couple names, such as KFC and SPARKLES. Our whole group had to vote for what name we want, KFC got 3 votes and SPARKLES got 10 votes. So SPARKLES won the vote, once SPARKLES was chosen no one had a clue on what our chant should be. So they changed the name to Marco, they still didn't know what our chant should be. But then we all picked Munchies, and we all had a good idea on what our chant should be.
Once we practised our chant we were ready to go.
But we still had to wait for the other two groups which were Churries and Fobalicious. When all the groups were done choosing their name and their chant, we all had to sit inside the street. The street is a big open area where we sit down.
All our groups had to sit in straight lines in order to begin doing our chants.
The teachers had to decide which group will go first, the teachers said we had to do rock paper scissors. And we won to all the groups so we had to go first and show our chant to all two groups. Once we all did our chants the Churries won because they had the best chant out of all of us.
Day 2. In day two we basically did the same thing except we played sports, our group Munchies had to play netball, so all we did was the same thing except we played sports games. We also. In netball I had to be a bib but there were no more bibs left so I had to be a non bib. Luckily we won, and then we went back to our classes and groups. Once the bell rang we all went home
Day 3. Day three Friday the last day of the week, we made truffles and played cup stacking games, and all sorts of stuff. Today we are going to have a shared lunch, and eat our truffles while we watch a movie. There is also 4 fidget spinners up for grabs. Today we are going to do a draw to see who would get those fidget spinners.

Immersion Assembly
Team 1: Today the whole school went to an immersion Assembly for the first day of school, the first team that Mr Burt called out was Team 1. Team 1 made a video about kites, in the movie, 4 teachers were talking about what they should do, but then 1 teacher had an idea. They were going to make kites, the 1st kite that one of the teachers made was A kite made from Easter egg wrappers, she ate maybe over 30-40 eggs or more. And then she put all the egg wrappers together, and it formed a kite shape, then she grabbed string and attached it to the kite. The second teacher made a kite from a orange plastic bag and some sticks. She attached some sticks onto the plastic bag also string. Then her kite was finished. The 3rd Teacher made a kite from flax, she picked a lot of flax and put it together to make a kite. Then she just put some string on it to make it fly. After that the 4th teacher made a kite. A kite made from plastic, she shaped it into a kite, and attached some sticks and string to it. Then that's when all four teachers grab their kites and test it. Their kites didn't really fly well, until wind came flowing, and their kites could fly. All four teachers had the best dream of their life. Their dreams were about them flying on top of their kites.
