2017 PES Athletics

Last Friday week 4 on Term 4 Pt England Had an athletics day. On Athletics day everyone has to wear their house colours.  My house colour is blue so I weared a blue t-shirt to athletics. It was so much fun, so that’s why Today i’m going to be telling you how much fun I had during athletics. As usual, the whole school walked outside then sat down in their lines on the netball court. Let's start off with the first rotation I went to, which was softball throw. While everyone was throwing the ball I was talking with my mates. Then it was my turn, I thought in my head I wouldn’t throw the ball that far. I did my personal best and threw it, I was surprised, the ball went further than I thought it would. I was happy about that.

Then the second rotation I went to was the X race. The X race is like a relay run just with some small obstacles. when It started, the people ran and jumped over 2 small hurdle poles then they ran around these sticks and did a roll at the end. After that they turned around and did the obstacle again but from the other side. When all the rotations finished. Everyone sat down and watched the top people race in a relay. we all went to our classes and had a ice block. I had so much fun at athletics, probably the best athletics yet.

Friday Speeches

On Friday Week 5 Term 3, Our teachers choose the 3 best speeches in each classes. The three people that got picked in our class room 2 was David, Eva and Sheena.
We all went and sat on the floor outside our classes. Then Our Teacher Mr Wiseman Did a draw to see who would go first up to do their speech in front of everyone. The best speech that I thought was the best was a boy, I forgot his name so yeah.
Once all the speeches were done It was Lunch time and everyone went outside and played.

Geometry Lessons - Building rockets

Hello my name is Tidus.
And this is a picture of me building a rocket.
In this picture we were told to make a rocket out of cubes.
Our teacher told us to draw a 2D presentation of a 3D model
I enjoyed doing geometry lessons because We got to build rockets with cubes.
